Acaro PP SN 12 from Wavin and IP-plus welding ring from Sabug provide the solution.
On the premises of a freight forwarding company in Mannheim, surface water must be completely collected and drained in welded systems in accordance with the Water Resources Act (WHG). For this purpose, the surface was completely renewed and the surface water will in future be discharged via special gutters into the Wavin Acaro PP SN 12 pipe system in accordance with DIN EN 1852. In order to meet the high requirements, the pipes and molded parts were welded using the IP-plus system from the company Sabug. The concept of the IP-plus welding system offers the possibility of effectively, quickly and safely welding together the Wavin Acaro pipe system made of polypropylene (PP).

The standard components such as pipes and fittings could be supplied by the stockist Köbig in Bürstadt and only the sealing rings were exchanged for the welding rings on site. Due to the welding, the joints have the same chemical and thermal resistance as the pipe material itself. The system thus meets the requirements of AWsV plants and guarantees that all pipes remain permanently leak-proof and that the requirements of the WHG are fulfilled.
Simple and fast processing by the installer
The welding ring is preformed and packed airtight. It is designed in such a way that it directly provides the joining pressure required for welding. The process is so effective that it is no longer necessary to remove the oxide layer, but only to clean the components with cleaner. A special welding process offers the possibility to model the temperature and the added power during the welding process to obtain a perfect welding result. All welding parameters are included in a barcode, so the welder is easy to use.
