Liquid manure, slurry and percolating juices are produced in the various applications in agriculture. On the one hand, they are valuable farm fertilizers and feedstuffs, and on the other hand, they are also energy sources.
However, they can endanger water bodies if not stored or filled properly.
According to Section 62 of the Federal Water Act (WHG), JGS facilities must therefore be designed and constructed, maintained, operated and decommissioned in such a way that the best possible protection of water bodies against adverse changes in their characteristics is achieved.
